About PROTECT Frontline Alliance
PROTECT Frontline Alliance brings together fire service leaders, clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to advance the long-term health, recovery, and resilience of firefighters and first responders through research, lived experience, policy dialogue, and responsible access to evidence-based care.
Our Mission
Firefighters and first responders face long-term health risks from toxic exposure, physical strain, disrupted sleep, and cumulative occupational stress. PROTECT Frontline Alliance exists to help close gaps in research, awareness, policy coordination, and responsible access to care so those who serve are better supported in their long-term health, recovery, and resilience.
Our Four Priorities
Advance Research & Evidence
Support credible research and evidence generation focused on long-term firefighter and first responder health.
Elevate Lived Experience
Bring firefighter and first responder experiences into public health, policy, research, and care conversations.
Shape Policy & Systems
Engage public safety, healthcare, and policy stakeholders around prevention, readiness, recovery, and responsible access to care.
Support Responsible Access to Care
Support education and policy dialogue around clinician-directed, evidence-informed care that reflects individual needs and context.
Join the Call for First Responder Health
PROTECT Frontline Alliance invites fire service leaders, medical professionals, policymakers, and community stakeholders to support a coordinated national effort focused on research, awareness, policy dialogue, and responsible access to care for firefighters and first responders.
